That's a Toaster
Monday evening after work, dinner and regular tv, I went to turn my 360 on so I could watch a DVD, when much to my horror the machine refused to respond to my promptings. I quickly checked the front and there was no Red Ring of Death. I tried using the remote to turn it on, nothing. I tried pressing the big button on the machine to turn it on, nothing. I tried pressing the "open tray" button, nothing. I tried turning my TV on and off, nothing! I tried plugging the 360 in ... oh wait.

Yeah. Do you want some toast?

A friend of mine was working as a computer tech for a company and was sent on-site to figure out why the computer wouldn't start. They had verified over the phone that the computer and monitor were plugged in, all the cables were attached, yet the computer still did nothing when they hit the power button.

My friend arrived on the site, saw that the computer and monitor were indeed plugged in to a power strip. The power strip was plugged in to.... the same power strip.

In my defence there is no good reason for it having been unplugged.
